EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
In this role, you will be supporting the financial activities of the Uninsured Employers Guaranty Fund by reviewing data, validating transactions, and helping resolve discrepancies. Work involves ensuring financial information is accurate and required reports and processes are completed on time. As a Fiscal Technician, you will perform the following duties: Financial Review: Examine expenses, revenue, and reports to ensure accuracyData Verification: Compare information from WCAIS, TPA reports, SAP, and Treasury postings to identify inconsistenciesIssue Resolution: Research and resolve problems in financial records and explain unusual findingsInvoice Processing: Compile checks and invoices, verify information, and support required processing stepsReport Preparation: Produce weekly, monthly, and year end reports and summarize information for leadershipSystem Updates: Enter and maintain accurate financial data in WCAIS and support system improvementsInterested in learning more? Additional details regarding this position can be found in the position description.Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employmentWork hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. You will be required to report in-office 2 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Pennsylvania. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
