Established in 1989, Kenneth S. Nugent, PC (“KSN”) is one of Georgia's largest plaintiff personal injury law firms, serving clients through nine offices across the state. For more than three decades, we have been dedicated to providing exceptional legal representation and outstanding client service. We are currently seeking an experienced paralegal with workers' compensation experience and a willingness to take on case management responsibilities to join our growing team in our Macon office.
Responsibilities:
- Draft legal documents including routine pleadings and motions, affidavits, and interrogatories; files motions and pleadings according to judicial procedures.
- Research and analyze statutes, regulations, legal articles, judicial decisions, and other legal sources, and provide written analysis to attorneys.
- Interview clients and witnesses and prepares summaries of their statements.
- Prepare, organize, store, and retrieve case files, which may include evidence, exhibits, depositions, pleadings, exhibits, and other items.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date notes and media files in case management software.
- Identify and complete daily tasks related to the management of each case utilizing case management software checklist.
- Review and summarize medical records.
- Accurately calendar litigation and discovery deadlines, and keep attorney calendar up to date.
- Assists attorneys with trial preparation, which may include attending trials and hearings.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date notes and media files in case management software.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by supervising attorney(s) to help drive the Firm’s vision of providing superior services to our clients.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Proficiency with e-filing systems such as Pacer, Odyssey, and PeachCourt
Education & Experience:
- Associate degree, Bachelor's degree, Paralegal Certificate, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Minimum of two (2) years of litigation experience in a personal injury and/or defense law firm environment
- Prior experience in workers’ compensation is required
- Experience using Filevine or similar personal injury case management software preferred
