This position will be based at our Headquarters in Plano, TX.
SUMMARY
The Process Development Engineer provides support in equipment and systems testing, prototype manufacturing, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Development and execution of prototype production protocols and programs.
- Preventive maintenance and fix equipment for polymer coating.
- Research projects including development, design, evaluation of new products.
- Troubleshoot coating equipment/system issues. Participate in equipment failure investigation
- Support outage and equipment repair efforts
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering
- Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical systems
- Comprehensive knowledge of chemistry, preferably organic chemistry
- Experience in polymer manufacturing techniques such as blade coating, slot die coating or roll to roll coating
- Strong technical, quantitative analysis and process orientation skills
- Working knowledge of root cause analysis concepts
- Proficient with engineering software
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Fluent in English
- Strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and sound engineering principles
- Proficient computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Pay: $20,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
