America’s First Network Credit Union is seeking a full-time Member Service Representative based at our Trumbull location (may assist at other locations in Connecticut as needed). Your schedule will consist of a 37.5-hour work week, Monday – Friday with flexibility to cover for staff absences.
As a full-time MSR, you will assist members with their financial transactions while providing friendly, professional, personal service. Primary duties in this position include:
1. Responsible for the efficient, effective and accurate performance of member account transactional functions.
2. Responsible for the effective and professional performance of member service functions including account opening, closing, maintenance, and payroll functions.
3. Assist members with identifying products and services to improve their financial lives.
4. Ensure the security of your cash, work area and the confidentiality of member information.
5. Ensure all duties are conducted in accordance with established procedures as outlined in policy and within legal and regulatory requirements.
6. Travel to other locations when necessary to ensure sufficient coverage.
7. Other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will be well organized, detail-oriented, and accurate, with good communication skills, a general understanding of PCs with Windows-based applications, and calculators (bilingual skills are an asset). Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Previous experience in a credit union or banking environment is a plus.
