EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
This position leads advanced analytical and technical work that supports major Driver and Vehicle Services systems used throughout the Commonwealth. The role ensures that complex applications stay effective, reliable, and aligned with changing needs. As a Business Analyst 3, you will perform the following duties:

Lead System Support: Provide direction for technical and analytical functions that support complex automated systems

Apply SDLC Methods: Use structured development practices to guide efficient and effective system changes

Coordinate Teams: Oversee work performed by staff and project teams responsible for many applications and interfaces

Guide Enhancements: Organize requirement gathering and planning efforts to support system updates and improvements

Communicate Progress: Share updates with leadership and report issues that affect schedules or outcomes

Resolve Issues: Review problems, determine options for solutions, and assist users when application issues occur

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.

May be required to work when a full-day and/or partial-day office closing is authorized. To include but not limited to: early dismissals for inclement weather; the day before holidays; special holiday closings.

Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.
