Qualifications
· Education: HS diploma or equivalent
· Experience: experience working with children in school, camp, recreation or other organized learning environment. Preschool classroom experience preferred
· Certifications:
· First Aid, Adult/Child CPR Certification
· ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for child abuse prevention, continuing education and background clearances.
· Skills: good interpersonal and communication skills, enthusiasm and adaptability, creativity, curiosity and ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
Job Description
a. Facilitate learning by assisting the UPK Teacher in preparing the learning environment, observing children’s progress, assisting with individual and group lessons and activities, maintaining classroom order and ensuring all students receive high quality, individualized learning experiences.
b. Assist with snack and lunch prep and clean up
c. Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and easily accessible environment inside and outside
Pay: $125.00 per day
