Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster meaningful progress and improve quality of life for those we serve.
Responsibilities
- Implement behavior intervention plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to support clients’ developmental goals
- Collect and record data meticulously during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments
- Support teaching strategies that enhance communication, social skills, and behavioral management
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding medical records and sensitive information
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to ensure consistency in care delivery and progress tracking
- Foster a positive, engaging environment that encourages client participation and growth
Experience
- Prior experience working with children or individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred but not required; training will be provided for qualified candidates
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, including applied behavior analysis (ABA), is highly desirable
- Familiarity with medical terminology, documentation standards, and care plans will enhance your effectiveness in this role
- Strong data collection skills to accurately track client progress and support treatment decisions
- Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills to connect effectively with clients, families, and team members
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $21.50 - $28.00 per hour
