The Center for Family Development is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping families. We have a number of programs, all of which complement one another to provide a holistic approach to meeting the needs of families.
WORKS: Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm.
REPORTS TO: Program Director
JOB SUMMARY: The Program Assistant will be assigned responsibilities in the data collection, concurrent various roster upkeep and maintenance of records required for program evaluation and reporting required for invoicing. The Program Assistant will also perform receptionist and secretarial functions for the Relative Caregiver Program. The Program Assistant will perform other job duties assigned by Director and Supervisor to support the delivery of services of the Relative Caregiver Program.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists Program in maintaining appropriate records and data collection for worksheets and reports to meet accreditation and state requirements.
- Keeps local program data current
- Assist with or complete various reports for Director or Executive Director
- Upload data into statewide system
- Answers phone and screens calls/ make appointments
- Prepares correspondence, forms, minutes, reports, or other special project information as requested
- Arrange intakes for Family Advocates, and assist as needed
- Ensures office files are orderly maintained and audit ready
- Ensures offices supplies are readily accessible to staff and keeps an ongoing list of needed supplies
- Assist with quality assurance record reviews
- Assist in the preparation of family support groups
- Must demonstrate exceptional communication skills & team player attributes
- Accepts new assignments and job duties as program and service needs change
- Support the planning and execution of program activities/ support group
- Occasional travel to our Shelbyville office, or various trainings required
- Any other various tasks assigned by Director
- Ongoing communication with other program staff to ensure assistance is not needed

EMPLOYMENT QUALIFICATIONS:
College or business education preferred
Has experience working with Microsoft Office, Excel
Great communication and team player skills
Exceptionally attentive to detail and capable of multi-tasking
Willing to take initiative as well as respond to diverse requests
Excellent writing and editing skills

Pay: $19.23 - $21.00 per hour
