Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Bar Manager/FOH Manager to lead our bar operations and manage our front of house staff with enthusiasm and professionalism. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise foh staff, including training, development, and performance management to foster a motivated team.
- Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring efficient service during all shifts in a fast-paced environment.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, stock rotation, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards, alcohol regulations, and health codes through diligent monitoring and training.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; manage cash handling procedures securely.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and ensure seamless integration between food and beverage services.
- Maintain a lively atmosphere by managing shift schedules, resolving customer issues promptly, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality management with supervising responsibilities in a quick service or fine dining setting.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, food handling, and culinary techniques relevant to bar operations.
- Expertise in POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; proficient in cash handling and transaction processing.
- Excellent team management skills with experience in staff training, interviewing, and development within the food industry.
- Ability to oversee inventory control, budgeting, and food safety practices effectively.
