Keeping production on track is critical, and the Production Scheduler is at the center of it all. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys organization, problem-solving, and seeing the direct impact of their work.
A Day in the Life
- Reviewing open jobs and ensuring materials are ready for production
- Entering and scheduling both stock and made-to-order jobs with precision
- Communicating with production, purchasing, and shipping to prevent delays
- Adjusting schedules when priorities change or urgent jobs come in
- Monitoring production progress and updating the team with schedule changes
- Identifying bottlenecks or issues and recommending solutions to keep operations efficient
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to help the shop work smarter
- Stepping onto the shop floor to verify job readiness and coordinate workflow
What You’ll Bring
- 2+ years of experience in production scheduling, manufacturing coordination, or a similar role
- Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (Epicor preferred) and Microsoft Office
- Comfort reading work orders, blueprints, and production schedules
- Excellent communication skills; able to coordinate across multiple departments
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and solution-focused
- Manufacturing or metal fabrication experience is a strong plus

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
