Position Summary
We are looking for dependable and hardworking individuals to join their manufacturing team as Winding & Covering Operators. This position involves operating production equipment used in the winding and covering process while maintaining quality and production standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate winding and covering machinery according to company procedures.
- Set up and monitor equipment during production.
- Load and unload materials as required.
- Monitor machinery to ensure proper operation.
- Inspect materials and finished products for quality and consistency.
- Identify and report defects, equipment issues, or production concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Meet established production and quality goals.
- Work as part of a team to maintain efficient production.
- Perform other manufacturing duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, machine operation, or textile experience is a plus.
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience with winding, covering, weaving, or textile machinery is helpful but not required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to perform repetitive movements.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required.
- Ability to work around operating manufacturing equipment.
- Must be able to follow all workplace safety requirements.
Schedule & Pay
- 1st Shift: $17–$18/hour-7am-3pm
- 2nd Shift: $17–$18/hour-3pm-11pm
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
