Fab-Tec is a machining and fabrication company with over 29 years of experience. We are seeking a detail oriented, hands-on ISO / Quality Assurance to join our team with previous quality experience in a machining and fabrication environment. The idea candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards.
Summary:
This position involves conducting inspections, overseeing ISO quality management systems, and collaborating with various departments to maintain compliance and ISO 9001 standards.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough quality inspections of products throughout the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Perform quality audits to assess adherence to established procedures and standards.
- Document findings from inspections and audits, maintaining accurate records for compliance purposes.
- Participate in internal audits and assist in the preparation for external audits related to the quality system.
- Fill out job travelers, time sheets, inspection documents and any other paperwork associated with the part.
Requirements:
- H.S. Diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in quality control in a machining and fabrication environment required.
- Previous experience with quality systems and standards such as ISO 9001.
- Read and interpret blueprints and work order instructions.
- Working knowledge of computers.
- Basic math skills.
- Demonstrated effective verbal, written, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining independence in decision-making.
Pay: DOE
Hours: 7:00am-4:30pm Mon-Thurs, 7am-11am Fri
