Job Title: Distribution Center Manager
Company: SportLife Distribution
Location: Garland, Texas
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM (Additional hours may be required)
Salary: 65k-70k depending on experience
About Us:
Sport Life Distribution is a leading distributor of sports nutrition and supplement products serving thousands of retail customers across the country. Our Texas facility is a critical part of our operation — processing and shipping orders to gyms, nutrition stores and wellness retailers every single day.
We are a fast-growing company and our warehouse team is at the core of everything we do.
Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to lead our Dallas team on the day shift. This is not a desk job. You will be on the floor every day working alongside your team — picking, packing, receiving, staging and solving problems in real time. You lead by example, you are not afraid to get your hands dirty, and you hold yourself to the same standard you hold everyone else.
At the same time you are a leader. You will be responsible for the daily performance of the warehouse operation, the development of your team and making sure every order leaves accurately and on time. If you are someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in running a tight ship and genuinely enjoys building a strong team around you, we want to talk.
Performance Expectations
This role carries clear, measurable performance standards. You will be held accountable to the following KPIs and are expected to drive your team to meet them consistently:
- Same-Day Fill Rate: Minimum 70% of all orders received must be fulfilled and shipped same day — this is the floor, not the goal
- PO Receiving Window: All incoming purchase orders must be fully received, verified and logged within 72 hours of arrival — no exceptions
- Revenue Per Associate: Each warehouse associate in your facility must contribute a minimum of $125,000 in monthly shipped revenue — tracking this metric and driving your team to maintain it is your direct responsibility
- Revenue-per-associate productivity tracked weekly and reported to management
- Order accuracy rate maintained at or above company standards
- Shift productivity targets met daily with real-time adjustments when needed
What You Will Do
Leadership & Team Management
- Supervise and work alongside a team of warehouse associates on the daily shift
- Train, coach and develop team members — setting clear expectations and recognizing strong performance
- Conduct daily shift briefings and keep the team informed of priorities and workload
- Address performance issues directly, professionally and in a timely manner
- Maintain team schedules, track attendance and coordinate coverage as needed
- Foster a positive, respectful team culture where people show up motivated and take pride in their work
Daily Warehouse Operations
- Work side by side with your team on receiving, picking, packing, staging and shipping — this is a hands-on role
- Drive same-day fulfillment to consistently meet or exceed the 70% same-day fill rate requirement
- Ensure all outbound orders are picked accurately, packed correctly and shipped on time
- Oversee receiving and ensure all POs are fully processed and logged within the 72-hour receiving window
- Track and report revenue-per-associate productivity weekly — minimum $125,000 per associate per month is required and it is your job to ensure the team hits it
- Manage daily workflow and prioritize tasks to meet shipping deadlines
- Monitor productivity and order accuracy throughout the shift and make real-time adjustments
- Operate warehouse equipment including pallet jacks and hand trucks; assist team as needed
Inventory & Accuracy
- Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts, audits and proper receiving procedures
- Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies quickly and communicate issues to management
- Ensure products are stored correctly and warehouse layout supports efficient picking
Safety & Compliance
- Enforce all safety protocols and ensure the team follows proper procedures at all times
- Maintain a clean, organized and hazard-free warehouse environment
- Report and address any safety concerns or incidents immediately
What We Are Looking For
- 2+ years of warehouse supervisory or lead experience in a distribution, fulfillment or shipping environment
- Proven ability to lead a team — you know how to get people moving, keep morale high and hold standards

- Demonstrated track record of hitting operational KPIs including fill rates, throughput and receiving timelines
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations including receiving, pick/pack, shipping and inventory management
- Ability to lift, carry and move up to 50 lbs regularly and stay on your feet throughout the shift
- Sharp attention to detail with a strong commitment to order accuracy and on-time shipments
- Excellent communication skills — clear with your team, honest with management and professional at all times
- Calm under pressure with strong problem-solving skills when things get busy
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or shipping software
- Reliable, accountable and someone your team can count on every single day
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
