Contract Specialist II (Federal Acquisition) – Remote
Full-Time Remote W‑2 Employment 40 hrs/week
We’re hiring Contract Specialists II as full‑time W‑2 employees to support federal acquisition operations for a major CDC program. This role is ideal for experienced 1102s who can manage full lifecycle contracting, produce clean and compliant documentation, and thrive in a fast‑paced federal environment.

What You’ll Do
- Support cradle‑to‑grave federal contracting (pre‑award, solicitation, evaluation, award, post‑award).
- Draft and edit RFPs, RFQs, SOW/PWS, D&Fs, PNMs, evaluation documents, award packages, and contract file folders.
- Conduct market research, develop milestones, and support acquisition planning.
- Assist with technical evaluations, scoring, past performance reviews, and source selection documentation.
- Prepare modifications, option exercises, de‑obligations, and administrative actions.
- Maintain complete, accurate digital contract files and meet strict delivery timelines.
- Support FPDS reporting, award notices, debriefings, and vendor communication.
- Work independently while meeting weekly, bi‑weekly, and monthly reporting requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of federal cradle‑to‑grave contracting experience
- FAC‑C (any level) or DAWIA Contracting Level I/II/III
- Experience with multiple federal contract types:
- FFP, T&M, Cost‑Reimbursement, IDIQ, BPA, 8(a), SAP
- Strong writing and documentation skills
- Ability to manage high‑volume workloads and fast turnaround timesPreferred Qualifications
- ICE (Integrated Contracts Expert), CDC’s contract writing system
- Experience with CDC/HHS systems: FPDS, PRISM, SAM.gov, GSA eBuy, SBCX
- Prior experience supporting CDC, HHS, NIH, FDA, or other civilian agencies
- Experience with GWACs (SEWP, NITAAC, GSA MAS)

Contingent on Award
This position is contingent upon contract award and will begin only after the government issues final approval and funding.
Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
