This position works under the supervision of the on-duty supervisor and the Jail Administrator. The detention deputy is responsible for maintaining a secure detention facility and ensuring the safe custody of inmates. The Detention Deputy will perform a variety of technical and administrative tasks associated with detention operations and incarceration of prisoners.
