We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pre-Kindergarten Lead Teacher to inspire young learners and foster a nurturing, engaging classroom environment. Duties
- Develop and implement dynamic, developmentally appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to support holistic childhood development.
- Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration, social interaction, and respect for diversity.
- Manage daily classroom activities with effective behavior management strategies to promote positive conduct and emotional well-being.
- Collaborate with families through regular communication about children's progress and milestones to ensure a supportive partnership in early childhood education.
- Incorporate special education techniques and early intervention strategies to meet the diverse needs of all learners.
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor progress and inform instruction.
- Plan engaging lessons that integrate hands-on activities, storytelling, and interactive play to foster literacy skills and cognitive growth.
- Maintain detailed records of student development, attendance, and behavioral observations in compliance with childcare standards.
- Support children’s physical health by supervising meal times, outdoor play, and classroom routines aligned with child welfare practices.
Experience
- Prior classroom experience working with preschool or toddler-aged children in a daycare or private school setting is essential.
- Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development across early childhood subjects including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods.
- Experience managing classrooms with diverse learners, including those requiring special education or early intervention services.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with parents, staff, and community partners.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in behavior management and classroom management techniques.
- Familiarity with standardized testing procedures relevant to early childhood assessment tools.
