The Oasis Diner is looking for a motivated, passionate, food loving individual to join our culinary team! You will have the opportunity to work with a group of talented and driven team members who are passionate about food, hospitality, and service! We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team in a bustling restaurant setting. Duties:
- Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with established recipes and standards
- Ensure food preparation meets food safety standards
- Operate kitchen equipment such as knives, slicers, and grills
- Collaborate with the culinary team to provide exceptional dining experiences
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the food industry or a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and culinary terminology
- Familiarity with restaurant operations and kitchen procedures
- Understanding of food safety guidelines and regulations
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail
