- Perform a wide range of nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel manicures, acrylic and nail extension applications with precision and care.
- Apply advanced techniques such as nail art based on color theory to enhance the aesthetic appeal of each client’s nails.
- Conduct sanitation and disinfection procedures diligently between appointments to ensure salon safety protocols are upheld.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences, provide expert advice on nail care, and recommend suitable treatments or retail products.
- Manage retail sales by upselling nail care products, tools, and accessories to enhance client experience and increase revenue.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in nail art, techniques like dermabrasion or esthetic laser treatments, and industry best practices.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation while adhering to all health and safety standards related to sanitation and disinfection procedures.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of color theory, nail extensions, acrylic application, gel manicures, and manicure techniques.
- Experience working in the beauty industry with proficiency in sanitation, disinfection procedures, and salon safety protocols.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse clients.
- Familiarity with advanced nail treatments such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling, hair extensions, hair threading, dermabrasion, and esthetic laser treatments is a plus.
- Ability to upsell retail products effectively through client communication and retail math skills.
- Knowledge of nail care best practices along with experience in client consultation for personalized services.
- Strong communication skills combined with professionalism to ensure a positive client experience at all times.
