QMN currently occupies nine (9) facilities in the Antioch/LaVergne area with over 3000 employees...and GROWING!
We are currently seeking candidates for the following position!
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
To plan and manage the overall Production activities for Cloud Computing (CC). Directs and coordinates activities of technicians and associate employees in a High Volume Manufacturing (HVM) environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
SUPERVISION
-
Works under the administrative direction of the Operations Manager. Performs assignments/duties within broad parameters defined by general organizational requirements and accepted practices.
- Implements and maintains a Production process that complies with established internal documentation.
§ Responsible for managing, directing, and coordinating the activities of the CC employees. Plans daily Production operations, establishing priorities and sequences for producing product.

Ensures products are assembled according to company standards as outlined in Work Instructions.

Coordinates Production activities to insure quantity and quality of products meets established specifications.
§ Ensures Production employees have been trained and understand each Work Instruction for their function(s) in a timely manner, then providing prompt performance feedback to employees.
§ Ensures all required documentation for Production, training, etc. is completed timely and accurately.
- Directs the workflow in the CC department and schedules work hours for assigned employees.
§ Responsible for performing all supervisory functions of hiring, evaluating, disciplining and approving employee-related transactions.
§ Collects, monitors and maintains performance metrics.
§ Supports the development and improvement of processes for assembly lines, warehouses and other service operations.
§ Follows all Quality System and ISO requirements
§ Works as part of the team with strong leadership skills supporting a positive team-oriented environment with collaboration and diplomacy.
§ Adheres to and supports QMN’s Corporate Policies and Procedures.
SAFETY

Maintains a clean and safe work environment through safety training for employees, identifying hazards in the work place and correcting them, and providing discipline, when necessary, for violation of Company safety rules.

Ensures all Production employees are wearing the appropriate PPE.
- Responsible for ensuring all Production employees are utilizing proper lifting and material movement techniques at all times.
- Responsible for ensuring all work related injuries are reported immediately to Human Resources and/or Environmental, Health and Safety departments.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
-
High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Production and Operations Management or related field preferred.

Two (2) to Five (5) years experience in a high volume manufacturing environment.

Minimum two (2) years supervisory experience.

Previous experience in electronic manufacturing preferred.
-
Experience in writing procedures according to applicable regulations.
-
Training and/or experience implementing manufacturing processes and procedures.
-
Certificate in manufacturing or process improvement preferred.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Strong knowledge of a Windows Environment: Excel, Word, Power Point, Internet.

Capability to complete projects under tight deadlines, even when there are competing requirements and changes in assignments.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to walk and stand on cement floors for long periods.
- Able to sit at desk and use/view computer for prolonged periods of time, up to 8 hours daily.

Production areas are climate-controlled.

Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment, as needed.
