Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of pool plumbing systems, pumps, filters, and other equipment to ensure optimal operation.
- Balance pool chemistry by accurately handling water treatment chemicals to maintain safe and clear water quality.
- Perform thorough cleaning of pools, including skimming debris, vacuuming surfaces, and brushing walls to uphold high cleanliness standards.
- Troubleshoot and repair pool equipment using hand tools and power tools, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
- Manage chemical agent handling with strict adherence to safety protocols, including proper storage, mixing, and disposal procedures.
- Operate company vehicles safely to travel between multiple aquatic facilities or client locations as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of service activities, chemical usage, repairs performed, and safety inspections for compliance purposes.
Experience
- Prior experience working with pool maintenance or in an aquatic facility environment is highly preferred but not required.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to pool plumbing systems and equipment troubleshooting is helpful.
- Demonstrated ability to handle water treatment chemicals safely and effectively.
- Outdoor work experience that includes exposure to varying weather conditions is advantageous.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients.
- Familiarity with using hand tools and power tools for equipment repair and maintenance tasks is required.
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles safely is necessary for this role.
