What You Will Do
As a Pilates Instructor at WAVE, you will:
- Lead small-group Reformer classes
- Coach duet Pilates sessions
- Provide individualized private sessions
- Develop thoughtful session plans based on client needs and goals
- Support clients transitioning from Physical Therapy into ongoing movement training
- Help clients improve strength, mobility, balance, control, and body awareness
- Educate clients on alignment, breathing, movement patterns, and mechanics
- Modify exercises based on injury history, limitations, and ability level
- Track client progress and adjust programming as needed
- Communicate and collaborate with Physical Therapists and wellness providers
- Create a supportive and encouraging client experience

What We Are Looking For
- Pilates certification required
- Minimum of three years of Pilates teaching experience
- Confidence leading Reformer-based sessions
- Experience coaching private, duet, or small-group sessions
- Strong understanding of anatomy and movement patterns
- Excellent communication, instruction, and cueing skills
- Ability to modify sessions for different needs and ability levels
- Interest in Physical Therapy, rehabilitation, and movement science
