Job Title: Seasonal Store Clerk
Reports To: Store Lead/Manager
Pay Rate: Hourly Range: $16 - $19/hr
Availability: Mon-Sun 7AM - 9PM ; Holidays required
About Us: North Shore Marina is a full-service marina located on Pueblo Reservoir in Lake Pueblo State Park. We serve boaters, anglers, and outdoor enthusiasts from across southern Colorado.
Responsibilities
· Greets and interacts with customers.
· Consults with customers to understand their needs and preferences related to merchandise.
· Demonstrates and explains merchandise, selecting and suggesting options suitable for the customer’s needs.
· Answers customer’s questions about merchandise.
· Assists customers with purchase decisions.
· Retrieves merchandise from sales floor, stock room, or other inventory locations.
· Collects payment using the store point of sale system.
· Processes returns and exchanges.
· Light janitorial duties (i.e cleaning of facilities etc.)
· Fueling boats and operating fuel pumps
· Stocking of store shelves and coolers
· Assisting customers with rental boat reservations (check-in/out, launching etc.)
· Creation of work orders for customers
· Bagging of Ice
· Inventory receiving and entering into inventory management system
· Assisting customers with slip rentals, creating contracts, and providing information
· Answering the phones, and assisting customers
· Any other tasks as assigned by management
Qualifications
· Excellent verbal communication skills.
· Excellent active listening skills.
· Excellent sales and customer service skills.
· Extensive knowledge of the merchandise sold.
· Ability to anticipate customers’ needs.
· Ability to recommend merchandise to customers.
· Ability to operate or to quickly learn the store’s point-of-sale system.

The salary for this position at The North Shore Marina is $16/hr - $19/hr (PT)
The base pay salary is a calculated industry-based estimate and is what The North Shore Marina may pay for anyone seated in this position throughout their tenure at our company. This salary of $16/hr - $19/hr (PT) is based on a number of factors including but not limited to market location, job-related knowledge, education or training, skills, and years and types of experience.
