MAS Consulting Engineers is looking for a Civil 3D Technician to join our growing team in Fort Worth. If you enjoy producing high-quality construction plans and want to work on projects that make a lasting impact on local communities, we'd like to hear from you.
As a Civil 3D Technician, you'll work alongside experienced engineers and project managers on a variety of municipal and private development projects throughout North Texas. You'll play an important role in transforming engineering concepts into construction-ready plans while continuing to grow your technical skills.
What You'll Work On
Projects may include:
- Water distribution systems
- Sanitary sewer systems
- Storm drainage systems
- Roadway and paving improvements
- Site development and grading
- Utility infrastructure improvements
- Municipal capital improvement projects
Responsibilities
- Prepare civil engineering construction plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Develop plan, profile, cross section, and detail sheets
- Create and edit surfaces, alignments, profiles, corridors, and pipe networks
- Assist with grading and utility layouts
- Prepare exhibits and supporting graphics for project deliverables
- Revise plans based on internal QA/QC reviews and agency comments
- Coordinate with engineers and project managers throughout the design process
- Participate in occasional field visits to verify existing conditions and support project development
Qualifications
- Experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Experience preparing civil engineering construction plans
- Knowledge of municipal infrastructure, roadway, drainage, utility, or land development projects
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet project deadlines
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver's license preferred
