Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Overnight Care Team Member / Med Tech (will train) to join our compassionate care team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in healthcare to develop their skills in a supportive setting. The position involves providing high-quality resident care during overnight hours, supporting medication management, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our residents. No prior medical experience is required as comprehensive training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily activities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being during overnight shifts.
- Support medication administration under supervision, including basic medication reminders and documentation.
- Monitor residents' vital signs and observe for any changes in health status, reporting findings to nursing staff as needed.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a respectful and caring environment.
- Follow all HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of resident information.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure compliance with care plans related to Alzheimer’s, dementia, memory care, hospice, or other specialized needs.
Skills
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for accurate documentation and record keeping.
- Compassionate communication skills tailored to working with individuals with disabilities or cognitive impairments such as Alzheimer’s or dementia.
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours while maintaining a high standard of safety and professionalism.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality requirements related to medical records and patient information.
Pay: $13.50 - $14.50 per hour
