MIRO Industries is hiring an HR Generalist to work in-person at our Heber City office. This is a full-time position, working 8 hours/day, Monday - Friday. Pay is $28 - $35 per hour, depending on skills and experience.

The HR Generalist plays a key role in supporting MIRO’s most important asset — its people. Working closely with the HR Director, this role touches nearly every part of the employee experience, from a new hire’s first day to everyday payroll and benefits administration. MIRO’s HR team is small and mighty, so we’re looking for someone who comes in with a strong HR foundation, a self-starter mindset, and the confidence to work independently while knowing when to ask a great question.

Employee onboarding (updating HRIS, I9 and Everify, new hire orientation)

Managing timecards and preparing for biweekly payroll

Tracking work injuries for workers' comp and OSHA

Manage and track employee benefits

Maintain and update employee handbooks and HR policies

Maintain and update job descriptions

Generate HR reports and metrics

Process resignations and terminations

Foster a positive work culture and employee engagement

Recruitment support (posting job openings, screening applicants, coordinating interviews)

Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations

Bachelor’s degree in HR or Business, or 3 5 years HR experience

Strong knowledge of Microsoft products, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook

Effective communication skills, both spoken and written

Strong attention to detail

Comfortable talking to people

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

Asks good questions and knows how to research for answers

Knows how (or learning how) to use AI programs (like Claude or ChatGPT) for research and writing
