Press Operator
The 2nd shift Press Operator plays a vital role in maintaining efficiency, functionality, and quality of printing. This position requires a detail oriented, reliable individual who can perform a variety of tasks to ensure smooth operational flow and a safe, clean working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Candidate would operate the printing presses to produce print on paper or other materials.
- Candidate would be responsible print clarity, color accuracy, conformance to specifications and external defects.
- Candidate must be detailed oriented, able to follow directions, and communicate with other employees, supervisors, and management.
- Candidate must time management skills, be organized, be reliable, be motivated, and responsible.
- Candidate must be able perform the job with safety in mind.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous manufacturing experience
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive work ethic
- Willingness to work evenings and occasional overtime
- Basic understanding of safety procedures and regulations.
Working Conditions:
- Exposure to chemicals, dust, and noise may occur.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided and must be worn as required.
Schedule:
- 2nd Shift Hours: 3 pm to 1 am Mon-Thurs
- Potential for overtime on Friday depending on operational needs.
