Job Qualifications
Education: High school or equivalent. General experience: One year of general experience. Specialized experience: Three years specialized experience in engine repair, automatic transmission/transaxle repair, suspension and steering, brakes, electrical systems, and heating. Must possess knowledge and skill in the use of a wide variety of automotive test equipment and instruments. Must possess a valid automobile operator's license as required by local/state laws or military regulations. Other: Any person involved with air conditioning and emission control systems checks and provides maintenance and repair as needed must be certified by an ASE approved testing program and recertification as required by EPA's final rule 609 (40 CFR, Part 82) and ASE. (Application at overseas locations will be in accordance with requirements of host country/installation engineers.)
