Role Overview:
As a Home Caregiver at Visiting Angels, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and personalized care to seniors in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our local team to ensure that each client receives the unique support they need to maintain their independence and dignity. Whether you work on-site in Charlotte, NC, you’ll have the flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide non-medical personal care and assistance with daily activities.

Facilitate companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities.

Assist with meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met.

Support transportation needs for clients, including errands and appointments.

Maintain effective communication with clients’ families and team members about the clients’ needs and progress.
Qualifications:
You're a great fit if you have the following skills.
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.

Ability to build trusting relationships with clients and their families.

Patience, compassion, and a strong sense of responsibility.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.
Bonus If You:
- Have certifications in First Aid or CPR.

Possess training in dementia or Alzheimer’s care.

Have experience with specific medical needs such as mobility assistance.
Employment Type & Availability:
This is a Part-Time position that may include shifts on any day of the week, including weekends.
Location:
This position is on-site only in Charlotte, North Carolina.
