Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Material Controller to join our dynamic supply chain and manufacturing team. Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor inventory levels using ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle EBS to ensure optimal stock availability for production needs.
- Coordinate procurement activities by liaising with suppliers, managing contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of materials aligned with demand planning.
- Oversee materials management activities including receiving, storage, and issuance of raw materials and components within warehouse facilities.
- Support production planning by providing accurate inventory data, facilitating MRP (Material Requirements Planning) processes, and adjusting plans based on supply chain conditions.
- Maintain comprehensive records of purchase orders, delivery schedules, and supplier communications to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and control activities to prevent discrepancies, reduce waste through lean manufacturing principles, and improve inventory accuracy.
- Collaborate with logistics teams to optimize warehouse operations, streamline material flow, and enhance overall supply chain efficiency.
Skills
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle EBS, and other supply chain management software.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, purchasing strategies, and supplier management.
- Experience with MRP systems for production planning and materials requirement forecasting.
- Knowledge of inventory management techniques including inventory control, demand planning, and contracts administration.
- Familiarity with logistics operations, warehouse procedures, and lean manufacturing principles to optimize materials flow.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining accurate records across multiple platforms.
- Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers, internal teams, and stakeholders to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
