Lead Teacher – Full-Time
Lee’s Early Learning Center – West End, NC
Lee’s Early Learning Center is looking for a caring, dependable, and energetic Full-Time Lead Teacher to join our team! We are seeking someone who genuinely enjoys working with young children and wants to be part of a positive, supportive childcare environment.
Position: Lead Teacher
Full-Time | Monday–Friday
Available Shifts:
- 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
- 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
- Plan and participate in age-appropriate activities and learning experiences
- Supervise and interact with children throughout the day
- Follow classroom schedules, curriculum, and center policies
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
- Communicate professionally with parents and other staff members
- Complete required classroom documentation
- Support children's social, emotional, physical, and educational development
Qualifications
- Previous childcare/early childhood experience required
- Early Childhood Education coursework or credentials are preferred, but not required
- Must be dependable, responsible, and able to work as part of a team
- Must be willing to complete a short online Early Childhood Education course if needed
- Must be able to pass a required background check successfully
- Must be willing to complete required training
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are very important
On-the-job training is provided.
Pay
Pay is based on experience and qualifications.
