American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a day shift travel assignment in a CT Scanner unit, requiring ARRT registration, CT registration, and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

CT Scanner unit within a facility-based ED (FSED) setting, with an expected start at the main facility
-
9-bed unit

Day shift, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

13-week contract

Floating within the facility is required

Call is required

Block scheduling is possible

Cerner EMR
-
ARRT certification required, with registration in CT
-
MRT/TMB (Texas Medical Board) state license required if applicable

Current BLS certification
-
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist

Graduate of an accredited AMA radiologic technology program
-
Proficiency with CT scanning procedures including head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures
-
Knowledge of contrast media administration, surgical/sterile procedures, and cross-sectional anatomy

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

All certifications must remain active for at least 30 days beyond the contract start date

License required if applicable

Perform routine and advanced CT scanning procedures, including studies with and without contrast, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services

Work under the direction of a Radiologist and in accordance with departmental protocols

Navy blue scrubs required

RTO requests must be less than one week in duration

Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
