Key Responsibilities:
- Assist students 1:1 or in small groups with classroom activities, guidance, and participation
- Support students’ behavioral, social, and academic development as directed by teachers and staff
- Help with daily routines, transitions, and maintaining an inclusive, respectful learning environment
- Follow IEPs and implement behavior support plans where required
- Provide supervision, mobility support, and assistance with personal care when needed
- Maintain safety and uphold school standards at all times
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- PEL License
- Minimum age of 18
- TB test (per district/school requirements)
- Physical ability to assist with standing, walking, or lifting
- All required clearances completed or a willingness to obtain before your start date
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
- Familiarity with supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
- CPI, PMT, or RBT experience valued but not required
- A patient, reliable, and collaborative approach
