Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Hardwood Flooring Installer/Sander to join our dynamic construction team. Duties
- Measure, cut, and lay hardwood flooring according to construction plans and schematics, ensuring precise fit and finish.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely for flooring installation, sanding, and finishing tasks.
- Prepare subfloors by cleaning, leveling, and repairing surfaces to meet installation standards.
- Sand and refinish existing floors using floor sanding equipment to restore their appearance and durability.
- Apply stains, sealants, and finishes to hardwood floors for optimal appearance and longevity.
- Maintain strict adherence to building material installation safety protocols and construction site safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hardwood floor installation, sanding, refinishing, and related flooring projects.
- Skilled in using hand tools such as caulking guns, trim carpentry tools, and hand-held power tools for precise work.
- Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy materials safely throughout the workday.
- Construction site experience with a focus on building material installation and restoration projects.
