As a Driver for The Aero, you will drive fleet vehicles and provide outstanding customer service to riders in Aurora, CO.
What You’ll Do:
- Safely and courteously, operate wheelchair-accessible vehicles to transport riders
- Learn the fundamentals of The Aero operations and related safety procedures
- Perform the routine operation of vehicles, including pre- and post-shift inspections
Who You Are:
- At least 25 years old
- Hold a valid driver’s license with at least 1 year of driving experience
- Have experience driving in winter conditions
- Possess sound knowledge of the city and an excellent driving record
- Able to operate a wheelchair-accessible vehicle within standard safety guidelines to ensure public safety
- Able to safely push and maneuver more than 400 pounds of weight, such as in assisting passengers in wheelchairs or handling heavy equipment
- Comfortable bending down on one knee for extended periods of time to secure wheelchairs and other mobility aids within confined spaces
- Patient, empathetic, and sensitive to the needs of people with disabilities
- Able to deal effectively and courteously with all customers and the public
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions
- Must pass a physical exam, drug screening, motor vehicle check, and criminal background check

- Salary: $22/hour
