Duties
- Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans to ensure readiness for service.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations and work areas in accordance with health and safety regulations. .
- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure hygiene standards are met.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to facilitate smooth service flow during busy periods.
- Monitor supply levels of cleaning agents and notify management when replenishments are required.
Requirements
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and food handling safety protocols.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues across departments.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
- Basic understanding of kitchen operations such as bussing, food preparation, and catering support is desirable.
