Job Overview
NextHome Cape Fear is looking for motivated, full-time real estate agents who want to grow a long-term career in residential real estate.
This position is designed for professionals who are willing to prospect consistently, serve clients at a high level, participate in training, and take ownership of their business. Our agents work with buyers, sellers, investors, and referral partners throughout the Wilmington and Cape Fear region.
We provide the systems, technology, education, leadership support, and professional environment agents need to grow. In return, we expect our agents to operate with professionalism, consistency, integrity, and a full-time commitment to their business.
Responsibilities
- Generate new buyer and seller opportunities through prospecting, referrals, networking, open houses, and company systems
- Conduct buyer consultations and listing presentations
- Educate clients about the buying and selling process
- Schedule and conduct property showings
- Research local market conditions and prepare pricing analyses
- Write, present, and negotiate real estate offers and contracts
- Communicate regularly with clients, cooperating agents, lenders, attorneys, inspectors, and other transaction partners
- Maintain accurate client and prospect information in the company CRM
- Attend training, sales meetings, coaching sessions, and professional development opportunities
- Follow all North Carolina Real Estate Commission, MLS, Fair Housing, and brokerage requirements
- Build lasting client relationships that generate repeat and referral business

Qualifications
- Active North Carolina real estate license or currently enrolled in prelicensing education
- Commitment to building a full-time real estate career
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently
- Willingness to prospect and develop new business consistently
- Coachable and open to training, accountability, and feedback
- Professional appearance and conduct
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Basic comfort with technology, email, digital contracts, and CRM platforms
Previous sales, customer service, business development, or real estate experience is helpful but not required.
Compensation
This is an independent contractor, commission-based real estate position. Compensation is based on closed transactions and the compensation plan selected by the agent.
Specific commission structures, brokerage fees, and available agent programs will be reviewed during the interview process.

Pay: $85,440.28 - $102,895.83 per year
