Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Server to join our team at Metro 7 Diner. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable and memorable. Responsibilities
- Greet and seat customers promptly with a friendly demeanor.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the restaurant's ordering system.
- Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance guest experience.
- Ensure tables are clean, sanitized, and set up properly for incoming guests.
- Deliver food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high service standards.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during their visit.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely order preparation and delivery.
- Complete daily stocking and prep work.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a server in a restaurant setting is preferred.
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food handling and sanitation practices is essential.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
