Overview
We are seeking dependable and hardworking Laborers to join our team. The Laborer will perform a variety of physical tasks to support daily operations, including operating basic tools and equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This role requires physical stamina, attention to safety, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Must be willing to travel through New England.
Responsibilities
- Assist with loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment
- Perform general site cleanup and maintain organized work areas
- Operate hand and power tools as directed
- Follow instructions from supervisors and skilled workers
- Assist with construction, installation, or maintenance tasks as needed
- Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
- Report safety hazards or equipment issues promptly
- Support other team members to ensure timely project completion
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Good communication skills to effectively follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Basic understanding of construction safety practices; prior experience is a plus but not required
- Reliable transportation to get to shop; punctuality is essential
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work environments
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 60 per week
