Duties:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration
- Implement individualized behavior support plans and strategies
- Promote a safe and supportive environment for individuals
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and individual progress
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Advocate for resident rights and ensure their well-being
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including social workers, therapists, and medical professionals
Skills:
- First aid and CPR certification preferred
- Experience in childcare or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with resident rights and systems for supporting individuals
