Overview
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and appliance systems across our facilities. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment by performing routine inspections, repairs, and installations. Duties
- Perform repairs and maintenance on a variety of mechanical systems, including plumbing, electrical, grease traps, and roofs among others.
- Oversee state, local, and other required inspections for elevators, fire alarms, fire extinguishers, and backflow prevention devices. Maintain proper records.
- Operate company vehicles safely for on-site maintenance tasks or equipment deliveries while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and inspections completed in accordance with company procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to lead or assist in construction projects or equipment upgrades that enhance operational capabilities.
- Professional, courteous, detail-oriented, capable of multitasking and collaborating with office staff, tenants, and vendors.
- Self-perform small and large projects at the properties, including power washing, trash pick-up, painting, caulking, and similar.
- Support the Property Manager in coordinating and managing building and property services via third-party vendors and outside technicians for snow/ice removal, landscaping, HVAC, elevator, janitorial, waste hauling, and life safety systems.
- Requirements
- Proven experience as a Service Technician or Maintenance Technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, or mechanical systems repair.
- Knowledge of schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools related to HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and kitchen appliances.
- Hands-on experience with repair, and maintenance across commercial or industrial settings.
- Mechanical knowledge encompassing mechanical systems repair and general equipment maintenance.
- Ability to operate construction tools and perform building or facility-related repairs confidently.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles safely in various environments.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to work independently or lead small teams when necessary.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
