Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation of all areas.
- Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums and janitorial tools efficiently and safely.
- Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
- Maintain cleanliness of outdoor spaces by sweeping walkways, removing debris, and managing outdoor furniture or fixtures.
- Use cleaning detergents and chemicals responsibly while adhering to safety guidelines for manual handling and heavy lifting.
- Communicate effectively with the company owner to ensure their needs are met promptly and professionally.
Skills
- Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles within residential or commercial environments.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and proper use of cleaning equipment.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting with proper technique.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during shifts.
- Customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards clients or residents.
- Experience with outdoor work environments is a plus.
- Familiarity with hotel housekeeping or residential cleaning services is advantageous.
