Majors Market is hiring Food Service Team Members to support our prepared foods and service counter operations. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role that directly impacts customer experience, food safety, and daily store operations.
We are a small, locally owned business focused on quality, integrity, and teamwork. Reliability and attention to detail are essential for this position.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve food items according to established procedures
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
- Maintain cleanliness of prep areas, service counters, and equipment
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner
- Complete opening, operating, and closing cleaning tasks
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth service
- Follow all workplace policies and safety guidelines
Qualifications:
- Food service experience preferred, but not required
- Strong attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing light lifting
- Willingness to follow instructions, safety procedures, and company policies
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Schedule & Pay:
- Hourly position
- Weekly pay
- Scheduling varies based on business needs and seasonality
- Weekend and holiday availability may be required
Training:
- All new hires complete a 21-day introductory period
- On-the-job training provided
Work Environment:

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
