Description:
We are seeking an experienced Mortgage Manager, Post-Close Audit & Quality Control to lead post-closing audit operations, quality assurance initiatives, client experience management, and continuous process improvement efforts. This role requires extensive expertise in Non-QM, DSCR, conventional, government, and jumbo lending programs, along with strong leadership skills and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of loan quality and compliance.

Responsibilities:
Post-Close Audit & Quality Control

Manage all post-close quality control and audit activities.

Conduct and oversee forensic loan reviews to identify documentation, compliance, fraud, and underwriting deficiencies.

Prepare audit findings and ensure timely resolution of deficiencies.
Non-QM & DSCR Expertise

Serve as the subject matter expert for Non-QM and DSCR loan programs.

Review complex loan structures, income calculations, asset utilization, bank statement programs, and DSCR transactions.

Ensure adherence to investor-specific guidelines and requirements.

Provide guidance and training to operations and underwriting teams.
Quality Trending & Process Improvement

Analyze audit results to identify recurring defects, trends, and process gaps.

Develop quality scorecards, reporting metrics, and performance dashboards.

Lead root-cause analysis and corrective action initiatives.
Client Experience Management

Manage client experience initiatives and resolve escalated post-closing concerns.

Partner with internal teams to improve service levels and borrower satisfaction.

Maintain strong relationships with clients, investors, correspondents, and business partners.

Ensure timely communication and resolution of quality-related issues.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of direct mortgage underwriting experience.

Extensive experience with Non-QM and DSCR lending programs.

Strong background in post-close audits, forensic reviews, and quality control,

Proven experience identifying quality trends and implementing corrective action plans.

Previous management or team leadership experience preferred.

Advanced knowledge of mortgage underwriting, investor guidelines, and regulatory compliance.

Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent client relationship management and communication skills.

Experience with mortgage LOS, quality control, and reporting systems.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
