Impact Behavioral Counseling is seeking compassionate, independently licensed behavioral health professionals to join our growing network as Independent Contractors (1099). This opportunity is ideal for clinicians who value professional autonomy while partnering with an established organization that provides patient referrals, administrative support, scheduling resources, and billing services.
As an independent contractor, you maintain control over your clinical judgment, professional methods, and work schedule while providing high-quality behavioral health services to individuals and families.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual, family, couples, and/or group therapy.
- Complete psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing progress evaluations.
- Deliver evidence-based treatment for mental health and substance use disorders.
- Coordinate care and make appropriate referrals when clinically indicated.
- Complete accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with legal, ethical, and payer requirements.
- Maintain all required licensure and professional standards.
Qualifications
- Active independent clinical license (LPC, LPC-MHSP, LCSW, LICSW, LMFT, Psychologist, or other independently licensed behavioral health professional, as applicable).
- Eligible to practice in the state(s) where services are provided.
- Experience providing outpatient behavioral health services preferred.
- Strong clinical documentation and communication skills.
- Professional liability (malpractice) insurance or ability to obtain coverage prior to providing services.
- Ability to meet credentialing requirements with commercial and government payers.
Compensation
- 1099 Independent Contractor
- Competitive compensation at 65% of collected billing rates for approved services rendered.
- Payment based on approved invoices for completed clinical services.
- Administrative support for scheduling, billing, and credentialing.

Independent Contractor Information
This is an independent contractor (1099) opportunity and is not an employment position. Contractors are responsible for maintaining their own professional licenses, malpractice insurance, continuing education, business expenses, and tax obligations. This position does not include employee benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, retirement plans, unemployment benefits, or workers' compensation benefits except where required by law.
