A growing hospitality management company is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant General Manager to help lead a premium select-service hotel located in the Minneapolis–St. Paul market.
This confidential opportunity is ideal for a hospitality leader who is passionate about developing associates, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and driving strong operational and financial performance. The Assistant General Manager will partner closely with the General Manager to oversee daily hotel operations while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in leading all aspects of hotel operations, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Food & Beverage (if applicable), and Guest Services.
- Support recruitment, training, coaching, and development of department leaders and associates.
- Drive guest satisfaction through proactive service recovery and operational excellence.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, brand standards, and all regulatory requirements.
- Monitor labor productivity, operating expenses, and departmental performance to achieve financial goals.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and monthly financial reviews.
- Partner with Revenue Management to maximize occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and overall hotel profitability.
- Analyze operational metrics and implement action plans that improve hotel performance.
- Promote a positive, engaged workplace culture built on accountability, communication, and recognition.
- Serve as Manager on Duty and provide visible leadership throughout the hotel.
Qualifications
- Previous hotel management experience required.
- Strong operational and financial acumen.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
