Preferred IPA is one of the leading independent physician associations in Los Angeles County with a network of nearly 1500 primary and specialty care providers. We are seeking for individuals for patient/member outreach activities including various campaigns related to improving the patient’s overall experience and compliance with office visits. Applicants will conduct phone calls and/or telehealth calls to members and coordinate with provider offices to complete the preventive screenings measures and enter all call information into a database/tracking tool of all calls completed.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Responsible for provider and credentialing system data maintanance
- Responsible for provider maintenance and updates to ensure provider demographics, credentialing, and other data are current and accurate
- Research and respond to provider status changes for provider system updates
- Responsible for Health plan roster reconcilations and communications with health plans
Qualifications and requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in an HMO environment (i.e. MSO, IPA, health plan, provider office)
- Ability to interpret provider credentialing applications and contracts and transfer data to appropriate fields in the system
- Ability to analyze available data and information and update provider profiles as needed
