TOP PAY for Experienced Machinists! Must have 5+ years of experience. Pay range: $25–$35 per hour. APPLICANTS REQUIRED TO SET UP AND OPERATE ALL MACHINES.
Currently hiring for shifts:
- 1st Shift: Monday-Thursday 6am to 4:30pm
- 2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday 4:30 pm to 3:00am
- 3rd Shift: Friday-Sunday 6:00am to 6:30 pm
POSITION SUMMARY:
Receives work order and blueprints to determine part specifications. Sets up and operates all machines in the machining department.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate lathes to produce production parts and prototype parts with minimal supervision.
- Review work orders to obtain part specifications.
- Responsible for setting up tooling and fixtures independently.
- Perform periodic inspections to ensure parts are within required tolerances.
- Knowledgeable and able to operate either Haas or Fanuc controls.
- Able to edit programs under supervision to correct dimensional issues that may arise during initial set-up.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a machinist
CRITICAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Requires reading, writing and basic to intermediate math skills.
- Able to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
- Able to work under tight production deadlines.
- Ability to read and effectively use basic tools such as calipers and micrometers.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
