We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. Key responsibilities include setting up and operating machinery such as CNC machines, stamping presses, flexo presses, and press brake machines. The candidate will interpret technical drawings and blueprints, perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments, and troubleshoot mechanical issues as they arise. Additionally, the role requires maintaining a clean and safe work environment while adhering to all safety protocols.

Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor various manufacturing equipment including CNC lathes, milling machines, stamping presses, and flexo presses.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, production documents, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications.
- Measure parts accurately using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and other precision instruments.
- Set up machines according to specifications derived from technical drawings or production orders.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment; troubleshoot mechanical issues promptly.
- Follow safety standards rigorously to maintain a safe working environment.
- Document production data accurately; interpret shop math for measurements and calculations.
- Assist in fabrication tasks using hand tools or fabrication machinery such as press brakes or CNC machining centers.
- Support quality control efforts by inspecting parts for dimensional accuracy and adherence to specifications.
- Collaborate with team members on assembly line tasks and materials handling activities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating industrial machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, or flexo presses.
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and production documents with precision.
- Strong understanding of mechanical blueprint interpretation and shop math principles.
- Proficiency in using precision measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and gauges.
- Familiarity with Fanuc controls or other CNC programming languages is advantageous.
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CAD software (SolidWorks), CAM programming, and CNC programming is preferred.
- Experience with safety standards in manufacturing environments; ability to follow strict safety protocols.
- Mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting industrial equipment efficiently.
- Ability to handle materials safely using forklifts or other materials handling equipment when necessary.
- Basic math skills necessary for accurate measurements and calculations in machining processes.
- Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience is highly desirable.
