Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Montessori Trained / Qualified Teacher who speaks and able to write in the Chinese language who can inspire and nurture young learners in a vibrant early childhood education environment. Your expertise in Montessori principles will guide children through their developmental milestones, fostering social-emotional growth, cognitive skills, and foundational literacy and numeracy abilities. Responsibilities
- Design and implement engaging Montessori-based lesson plans that align with developmental stages and curriculum standards.
- Facilitate child-centered activities that promote exploration, problem-solving, and hands-on learning experiences.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques to create a respectful and inclusive environment.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share progress, address concerns, and encourage active involvement in their child's education.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children by adhering to health, safety, and mandated reporting laws.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum development strategies that incorporate early intervention techniques and literacy education best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, assessments, and individualized plans to support each child's growth trajectory.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of Montessori teaching methods and early childhood development principles.
- Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, including toddler care.
- Strong classroom management skills combined with effective behavior management strategies.
- Ability to develop curriculum tailored to diverse learning needs, including special education considerations.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members clearly and professionally.
- Familiarity with childhood development milestones, standardized testing procedures, and early intervention programs.
- Certification in first aid and CPR; knowledge of mandated reporting laws is essential.
- Experience teaching physical education, math concepts, literacy skills, and fostering child welfare practices.
- Demonstrated ability to plan lessons that incorporate child development instruction and promote holistic learning experiences.
