Are you someone who takes pride in craftsmanship and can't walk past a defect without wanting to fix it? We're a full-service cabinet and furniture manufacturer looking for a Quality Control Technician who shares our obsession with building things right.
This is a mid-level role with real impact. You won't just be checking boxes — you'll be a key voice in making sure we build and finish every product to the standard our customers expect, and helping shape a culture where quality is everyone's responsibility.
What You'll Do:
- Own the final quality inspection process, ensuring every piece that leaves the floor meets our standards
- Partner with supervisors on first piece inspections to catch issues before they become problems
- Read and interpret dimensional, manufacturing, and engineering drawings with a critical eye
- Document and report inaccuracies in the production process
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and bring ideas to the table — we listen, implement, and reward good thinking
- Manage and prioritize the flow of products through the quality process
- Move finished cabinets and furniture from production to packaging, ensuring product is handled with care throughout the process
- Participate in team development and help build a stronger quality culture on the floor
What We're Looking For:
- 2+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in woodworking, cabinetry, or furniture manufacturing strongly preferred
- Ability to read and interpret technical and engineering drawings
- ERP system experience required
- Forklift experience a plus — you'll be moving finished product from production to packaging
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Someone who takes ownership, communicates clearly, and holds the line on standards
What We Offer:
- 1st shift schedule with plenty of overtime opportunity — put in the hours and pad your paycheck
- A full-time position with a stable, growing manufacturer
- A team that values your input and acts on good ideas
- The opportunity to make a visible impact on product quality and customer satisfaction
- Competitive pay based on experience
If you take pride in your work and want to be part of a team that builds things the right way, we'd love to hear from you.
